Spotted last Saturday leaving Fort Lauderdale, USA, is the 86-metre Oceanco superyacht Man of Steel. Previously named Seven Seas, she was built in 2010 by the Dutch shipyard. She is one of several collaborations between the Dutch shipyard and Italian design firm Nuvolari Lenard who designed both the yacht’s exterior and interior, while Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture collaborated with Oceanco on the yacht’s naval architecture. The 2,658 GT superyacht’s standout features include a gym, a massage room, a steam room, a glass elevator which serves each of her four decks and several pools, including a plunge pool for the owner’s exclusive use and an infinity pool that can be transformed into a helipad. Powered by twin MTU diesel engines of 4,680 horsepower each, Man of Steel can reach a top speed of 19,5 knots and has a transatlantic range of 5,200 nautical miles while cruising at 15 knots.
